The APAA holds the adoption practice every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays at Petz (formerly PetCenter) at Avenida Washington Luis 2737 - Jd. Marajoara - South Africa
To adopt, it is necessary to take the RG, CPF and Proof of Residency plus a fee of R $ 70.00 to help the expenses of the NGO.
All animals are castrated, vaccinated and wormed.
The APAA was founded by a group of animal protectors worried about the growing number of dogs and cats abandoned in the city of Sao Paulo. Initially, our goal was to shelter abandoned animals, treat them and donate them castrated, but over the years we acquired experience and realized that models like this do not solve the problem, but create other problems, such as overcrowding kenells, lack of resources for vaccination and adequate treatment, and lack of affection.
We then set out for the sterilization efforts in order to control the birth rate. During collective efforts, while people waited for the surgeries, they listened to lectures and watched educational videos.
Currently, we work with temporary homes and we hold donation fairs every Saturday, Sunday and holidays in the south of São Paulo to find new homes for the animals. In addition, after the adoption, we follow the animal.
